By booking a tour with Galatrails you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions

Reservation Policy

Reservations will be accepted by email

Once services and availability have been confirmed, you will be sent your respective bill with the final cost via email.

Approval of all bills will be accepted via email. Reservations will be confirmed after the initial deposit has been made.

To guarantee any group or individual reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total cost of the invoice is required maximum 7 days after the bill has been approved. Along with the copy of payment, we need to receive guest’s names (as shown on your passport), passport numbers, nationality, dates of birth, allergies, and any dietary restrictions.

The remaining 70% of the invoice should be paid 30 days prior the guests arrival, otherwise the spaces will be released.

For last-minute reservations made fewer than 59 days prior to arrival, we require full payment upon reservation.

Availability cannot be guaranteed until the trip has been paid in full.

If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to make all the arragements. ….
Any changes in your reservation are subject to availability.

Other

Additional fee of 15% of the Price will be charge for bookings in high season on the following dates:
Dec 19th – January 06th

Cancellation by the Client

Any cancellation must be done in writing via email. Once the email is received by GALATRAILS, we will determine the charges that will apply to the cancellation.

If cancellations are made 61 days or more  prior to departure of your trip, No Penalty

If cancellations are made between 60 – 31 days prior to the start of trip, a 50 % penalty over the total value of the reservation will be apply.

If cancellations are made between 31 days or less prior to the start of trip, a 100 % penalty over the total value of the reservation will be apply.

 

Payment Policies

  • All our rates are in US Dollars.
  • By credit card: We work with wetravel.com a safe online payment company. We will issue you the tour of your choice and send you the link by email. To complete the process you will follow their prompts and complete the payment. For visa and mastercard cardholders. Credit card processing fees are 4% and 5 % for AMEX cards for every transaction. These fees automatically will be added when your process your card.
  • XOOM: Some of our past customers have used this platform. A PayPal service You can access to this link:  https://xoom.com
  • Bank Transfer – Please contact us to receive detailed information about bank/wire transfers.Note: Please note that bank fees and surcharges might apply

  • It is a condition of your booking that all members of your party provide advance passenger information. This information is required for governmental authorities and it also enables us to confirm local services for your tour. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the personal details or any other information supplied in respect to yourself and any other person travelling on the booking.
  • At Galatrails we are committed to protecting the privacy of all our clients. All personal information disclosed will remain confidential and used for the booking process only. Information will not be sold or shared with any third party companies.
  • We strongly recommend that passengers take out travel insurance prior to departure.

Refund Policies

  • Any refund must be handled directly with GALATRAILS.
  • Claims must be made in written form.
  • Any claim must be presented in writing no later than 30 days after services have concluded. After 30 days, we will not be able to process the claim.
  • For the recognition of any claim, the operator and its agents accept to submit them to the local Ecuadorian authorities’ jurisdiction.
  • Taking into account the different services and options of services specified on the bill, means a total acceptance of the conditions specified in this contract by the client(s) part.

Disclaimer

  • GALATRAILS disclaims the following responsibilities:
  • Illness, theft, disputes, labor, quarantine, government actions, weather, or any other cause beyond the direct control GALATRAILS.
  • Client’s failure to obtain required travel documentation such as passports, visas or certificates, will mean that they will not be entitled to any refund.
  • Client’s failure to follow instructions, such as airport schedules and check in-/ check out times at hotels.

 

            Cancellation or changes to the services offered for any reason.

  • GALATRAILS reserves the right to cancel a tour for any reason, unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside GALATRAILS control. When a tour is cancelled the client may choose between a refund of all monies paid or any alternative tour offered by GALATRAILS.
  • Total refunds will not be honored in situations in which tours have to be canceled, interrupted, or postponed by GALATRAILS for reasons that are beyond our control (such as: weather, hurricanes, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, etc.) and in which GALATRAILS contractual obligations with its suppliers don’t permit them to obtain a refund of the amounts paid or to be paid.
  • GALATRAILS reserves the right to keep 15% of the total cost as an administrative fee upon their own discretion and understanding of each situation.
