Day tour to Otavalo Indian Market

Otavalo market is considered to be amongst the biggest indigenous market in whole South America. Explore the beautiful colours and stock up on souvenirs – don’t forget to use your bargaining skills.

Description of the trip
Otavalo is famous for its friendly people and its worldwide famous indigenous handicraft market. is a very requested trip by tourists since its destination, represents to know and learn more about the indigenous culture, their works and the colorful of their clothes and music. Here you can purchase woolen goods such as ponchos, blankets, scarves, sweaters, jewelry as well as a variety of embroidered blouses and shirts.

This trip start from Quito city for about 2:20 mts. Before arriving at the city of Otavalo we pass by Cayambe to taste if you wish the delicious biscuits accompanied by a rich manjar and leaf cheese, that are well known on the área.

The first spectacular view is the one of San Pablo lake, the same one that makes a stop to be able to take photographic shots. Don’t forget to bring your camera!.

Visit to the artisan market which is the largest and most varied in Ecuador, also the mythical Imbabura volcano and beautiful landscapes can be seen during this tour.

Meals are not included on this trip but you have many options throughout the day to taste the typical Ecuadorian food.
