Welcome to Galápagos!

Santa Cruz Island


Upon arrival to Baltra Island you naturalist guide will wait for you in the arrivals hall and take you to your first visit on Santa Cruz Island. You will be transferred from Seymour airport by an airport bus (10 min ride) and a ferry ride (5min) to the northside of Santa Cruz where will take our transportation to our first visit of Los Gemelos the volcanic twin craters which were formed by the collapse of surface material in underground chambers.

We then continue to the highlands of Santa Cruz where we will have a great opportunity to get close to giant tortoises roaming in their natural habitat. Explore a cavernous underground Lava Tunnel where you can view one of the geological wonders of our volcanic islands.

The rest of the afternoon you are free to enjoy the island by yourself (depending of your flight time arrival).

Santa Cruz/Santa Fe Island (B,L)


Today you will be heading to the area of Santa Fe Island where you enjoy a day tour with various snorkeling opportunities according to climate conditions. During snorkeling you will be able to appreciate sea lions, variety of fishes, Galapagos Sharks and with some luck swim along with sea turtles. The crew will show you the local techniques how to fish where you can also make an attempt yourself too. Between the variety of fishes to be catch are: yellow fin tuna or wahoo. After this the chef will prepare an Ecuadorian seafood dish.

You then keep sailing for another hour to the northeast of the island where you will enjoy some beach time at Playa Escondida (the hidden beach). The beach disappears with the high tide.

Santa Cruz Island (B)


Enjoy a full free day with different options to explore such as:

Santa Cruz/ Pinzon Island (B, L)


On your second day tour you will be heading to Pinzon Island which is one of the less visited islands in the archipelago at the same time with a lot to offer. You will be enjoying two snorkeling sessions where you might be able to swim along with Galapagos Sharks, parrot fish school and sea turtles.

During your second snorkeling stop in the bay of penguins where as the name states you might be lucky to see or even swim with these little creatures. Inside the bay the white tip reef shark are resting which is an optimal spot for snorkeling with them. At the nameless rock we will make an attempt for fishing and enjoying a navigation around it while searching for dolphins and whales. After exciting activities enjoy some beach time at beach Las Palmas before heading back to Puerto Ayora

Santa Cruz/ Quito or Guayaquil (B)


This morning you are transferred back to Baltra airport where you catch your plane back to Ecuador mainland (flight is not included).

Please advise 15 days prior to the tour your arrival and departure flight details.
